Bloodstone Hearts small. Bloodstone is a red and green type of Jasper. Christian legend says the it was named bloodstone as it represents the blood that fell from Jesus on the crucifix and stained the Jasper at the base of the cross. It’s associated with the element of Earth and connects to the Root chakra. A grounding and protecting stone that helps with emotional centring and calming.
